Who I Am and Why This Exists
My name is Owen Wright. I write, I analyse, and I spend a probably unreasonable amount of time thinking about Liverpool FC. I built this site because Durham's Reds community is genuinely brilliant — spread across Whitby, Ajax, Pickering, and beyond — yet had no dedicated space to gather, debate, and celebrate together.
Lfcdurham.ca exists to fix that. Whether you caught your first match last season or you can recite the 2005 Istanbul lineup from memory, this is a place built for you. You will find match breakdowns, supporter meetup news, local pub guides for watching games, and honest takes on everything red.
What Guides This Community
A few things I genuinely believe in, and try to reflect in every piece I write here:
